Little B Heart Cards

This little collection of cards came about because I wanted to create some cards that were a different shape to the standard rectangle. It's quite hard to see from the photograph, but these cards are actually heart shapes!

I created this look using four different colours of card. I taped the 4 sizes of heart die that I wanted to use together, so that I cold get consistent spacing between the hearts. I then simply cut the hearts out from each colour of card and mix and matched the colours together to get the effect above.

Using some of my word dies and stamps I added sentiments to each card. The stamps & dies I used are:

  • Avery Elle Simply Said Love Elle-ments
  • Avery Elle Simply Said Hello Elle-ments & Stamps
  • Avery Elle Simply Said Happy Elle-ments & Stamps
  • Simon Says Stamp HAPPY Craft Die S189
  • Little B Designer Cutting Die HEARTS
Hope you enjoyed these cards and enjoyed seeing something a little different! I love playing with my dies and seeing what I can come up with that is a little different to the norm.

Thanks for reading!

Lawn Fawn: Wheelie Like You

Another cute stamp set from Lawn Fawn that I absolutely adore!
I started these cards out by stamping out the little images in tuxedo black and colouring them in with Spectrum Noir markers. The card panels are cut out using a selection of Pretty Pink Posh dies (more info below) onto which I stamped the greetings, again using tuxedo black ink.

I used some American Crafts twine to create little bows. I stuck these down using Multi Medium Matte from Ranger.

Products I used:
  • Lawn Fawn - Wheelie Like You stamp set
  • Pretty Pink Posh - Stitched Duo 1 die
  • Pretty Pink Posh - Stitched Duo 2 die
  • Pretty Pink Posh - Stitched Duo 3 die
  • American Crafts Twine
  • Spectrum Noir Marker Pens
  • Memento Tuxedo Black Ink

Graduation 2015

So, after 4 years at The University of Leeds studying for my Masters and BSC in Mathematics, I finally graduated! I might make another post following this one actually about my graduation so you lovely lot can see some of the photos!

This post however, because I'm a major cutie, is about some graduation cards that I made for my friends.

I felt that I needed to give my friends a little memento to remember our time at university, many of them I have been friends with right from the start. 4 years went so fast when I look back!

Products that I used:
  • Mama Elephant - Femme Frames Dies
  • Avery Elle - Numbered Balloons Dies
  • Avery Elle - Brushed stamp set
  •  Black, white blue card
  • Black ink
  • 3D foam pads
  • A6 Kraft  Card Blank
I made the Graduation cap by just drawing the shape I wanted on black card and cutting it out with my scissors.
