Top Tip Tuesday #10

Don't be afraid to sew on cards.

You can do faux stitching with a white gel pen or a black biro or whatever pen will stand out on your project by drawing small dashed lines to create the effect of stitches.

But have you also thought of putting real stitching onto your projects?

I started out with a little hand sewing machine that cost me about £4 from The Works and it worked perfectly on cards, however you could hand sew onto them or even use a full sized sewing machine if you have one available to you.

Stitching on cards, or another project, just adds that little bit of extra detail and texture.
